That's the verdict on the new Bulla Gastrobar in Winter Park. The place definitely lives up to its curious name. Pronounced "boo-ya," which is a slang term for "what people are talking about," the restaurant serves up a selection of tasty Spanish and Catalan tapas dishes. From the moment you walk in you are caught up in the lively atmosphere, with a large bar area that is open and modern with a slightly industrial feel to it, which carries throughout the restaurant space. The small plates are priced between $7 and $17, so it's easy to choose several favorites to please everyone at the table, making it fun to share. We heard the signature dish, the Huevos Bulla, was a must-do…and it certainly does deliver. The Ensalada de pulpo (with delicious grilled octopus) and the crispy Patatas Bravas also garnered enthusiastic raves. The Bulla kitchen takes pride in importing certain ingredients directly from Spain, and incorporating locally sourced items into the menu as well. Call today for a reservation— taste for yourself what all the chatter is about! I Luke's Kitchen and Bar N E W O N T H E S C E N E . . . FannieHillman.com | 15
