Quantum Leap is Florida's only sustainable winery. Its mission
is to seek out good quality, sustainably grown wine from all over
the world and transport it in large vessels to Orlando. Founders
Jill and David then store, finish, blend and package the wines in
Quantum Leap's facilities, substantially reducing the carbon footprint
associated with traditional wine production.
After strolling through charming Winter Park, head to The Wine
Room on Park Avenue for a one-of-a-kind experience. Italian-made,
state-of-the-art Enomatic wine dispensing machines are set up to
provide you with a 1-ounce, 2.5-ounce or 5-ounce pour of over 150
wines. The machines are equipped with a preservation system that
guarantees a fresh sample every time. All wines are available for
purchase to take home or enjoy in the store.
The Wine Barn, also in Winter Park, is a wholesale market that
is open to the public…with aggressively priced bottles for when
you really plan to stock up. Plan to sit back and relax in the rustic
atmosphere after filling up your shopping cart because the wood-
burning oven gets fired up at 4pm. A crispy and delicious chicken
Florentine pizza pairs very nicely with a refreshingly fruity Riesling.
Check the events calendar before venturing over to Pierre's Wine
Cellar in Lake Mary. It's likely that Pierre's team has something
special planned—from complimentary food and wine tastings to
seasonal showcases, with an in-store offering of over 200 wines
covering 12 countries across the globe.
Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards was founded in February 1989 in
Clermont, Florida and graces a 127-acre piece of lovely countryside
25 miles west of downtown Orlando. Sold under the Lakeridge and
Lakeridge Reserve brands, the vintages found here have received
more than 600 awards for excellence. Complimentary winery tours
