O
n what was once the site of the Army Air Corps and Air Force base, and later the
Orlando Naval Training Center is now one of Orlando's trendiest neighborhoods.
Surrounded by new homes, luxury properties, charming townhomes and a village
center, Baldwin Park is one of the area's most popular zip codes, according to
the Orlando Regional Realtor Association. The median home price last year in
Baldwin Park was $390,000, rising from $329,000 just five years ago. Even more astonishing are
the appreciation figures in Audubon Park, up 82% from $124,000 in 2010 to $223,000 in 2015!
The Baldwin Park neighborhood features picturesque lake views, 50 miles of paths and trails and
200 acres of parks. Adding to the appeal of the community are several festivals and monthly events
that allow people (and pets!) to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. Audubon Park shares the laid-back
atmosphere, with an array of eateries and boutique shops and stores surrounding the neighborhood.
