Neal Communities projects that it
will break its 1,000th home sale by
the end of this year, representing
more than a 25% increase over the
past year. The Lakewood Ranch-
based builder has opened 10 new
communities along the Suncoast in
2015.
The Loews Don Cesar Beach
Resort is investing over $10 million
in modern upgrades to the historic
resort. A new contemporary bar
and restaurant concept will be
added, along with renovations
to the neighboring property, the
Beach House Suites.
Two of the Tampa Bay area hotels
were recognized in the Conde Nast
Travelers Readers' Choice Awards
among the top hotels in Florida.
Hotel Zamora in St. Petersburg
was voted second, while Tampa's
Epicurean Hotel was ranked eighth.

ampa-based Mainsail Lodging &
Development broke ground on
its new Waterline Marine Resort
& Beach Club. The boutique
hotel, located on Anna Maria Island, will feature 37
two-bedroom suites with gourmet kitchens, a 50-slip
marina, swimming pool, and a restaurant and bar. It is
scheduled to open in the Fall 2016.
