To support long-term employment
retention, Dress for Success Tampa
Bay launched its Going Places Network
in 2011 with the support of a national
grant through the Walmart Foundation.
This nine-week program helps unemployed and
under-employed clients gain confidence in their job search through weekly training
sessions, one-on-one career coaching and networking. The Professional Women's
Group selects one applicant to attend the national organization's annual Leadership
Conference who has demonstrated the ability to overcome diversity and succeed,
regardless of circumstance. Dress for Success Tampa Bay also partners with
corporations and referral agencies to help women obtain gainful employment.
We are about much
more than simply a
new outfit.

Dress for Success Tampa Bay believes that once you're a member, you're always a member. The countless
success stories for many of the women comes not only from rebuilding their own lives, but also giving back to
the community that has helped them find their way. Members participate in a number of community projects
with annual food and clothing drives and serving meals to the elderly and homeless.
Through inspiration, confidence and camaraderie, the staff, volunteers and the local community that supports
Dress for Success Tampa Bay is continuing to create better lives, one woman at a time.
Once a
member,
always a
member.
