an "urban gem" with "international aspirations." The
rankings were based on the job market, affordability
of property and accessibility of health care. The city's
overall culture was also a consideration with notable
events such as the Bollywood Oscars and the Tampa
Bay Lightning's Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Lakewood Ranch-based Neal
Communities has launched an
in-house mortgage company,
Neal Communities Funding. The
mortgage division will specialize in
new home construction and assist
homeowners with all financing, from
pre-qualification to formal approval
to home closings.
Developers with Florida Crystals
Construction are building a new
300-unit luxury apartment complex
in Tampa's Channel District. The
seven-story building will feature a six-
and-a-half-story parking garage with
art deco inspired elements.
WestJet will begin seasonal flights
twice a week between the Sarasota-
Bradenton International Airport and
Toronto beginning December 18.
The additional flights support the
increase in Canadian travelers to the
Suncoast.
