Two years ago, Almonte was invited to be a participant in the city's Startup Scholars program. Almonte made valuable connections through the program and, after a sluggish beginning, deals have emerged. Stores such as Toys R Us, buybuy Baby, and HEB will be featuring Almonte's products. anks to Almonte, parents and children around the country will be that much more comfortable (and their thirst quenched.) As the interim leader for MOSI, (Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry,) Molly Demeulenaere has a clear vision for the science museum. She wants it to be seen as a site of innovation and creativity in line with today's science and technology. She'll be competing with hundreds of applicants for the position of CEO and president of the museum, but surely the understanding of the museum's needs works to her advantage. Currently in charge of development and fundraising, Demeulenaere has already helped to convert MOSI's IMAX DOME eatre to 3D and arranged a partnership with Florida Hospital.
