T he islands of southwest Florida shine with an intensity unmatched by any other region in the country. A combination of a rural landscape with modern amenities is in fact the hallmark of this regal cluster of islands off the coast of Southwest Florida. Palm Island and Don Pedro Island is a seven-mile barrier island accessed by car ferr y or private boat only. ere are ver y few coastal Florida locations as exclusive and pristine as you'll find on this island making it a wise investment, as well as a beautiful place to live and vacation. ere are no commercial high rises and the preferred modes of transportation are either golf cart or bicycle. e beaches here are secluded and quiet, the perfect getaway from the congestion of city life. Further south, Useppa Island is named "The Crown Jewel of the Florida Coast" by the London Times for its royal and exotic foliage, pristine colonial backdrop and the impressive list of Holly wood celebrities and industr y titans that have visited here since the 1920s. The Rockefellers, DuPonts and Rothschilds have all vacationed on this enchanting island. Useppa is accessible by boat or helicopter only. There are no cars, bridges and certainly no traffic here. In fact, the island is entirely private, besides a limited Boca Grande cruise that transports visitors for lunch at Collier Inn at the Useppa Island Club.
