Florida as a constitutional amend-
ment coming up in November could
potentially legalize the substance in
the state. The approximate impact
of medical marijuana in Florida may
result in a $758 million industry and
could create 10,000-20,000 jobs.
A new 18-unit condo development
is in the works for 129 Taft Drive
on Lido Key. Heading up the Park
residences of the Lido Key project
is Ocean Real Estate, LLC principal
Patrick DiPinto who is working with
architect Mark Sultana, co-founder of
DSDG Architects.
Benderson Park wins the state
planning award, recognized in its
Awards of Excellence category for
project planning in the previous
year. "The park continues to
be recognized at all levels,"
says Sarasota County Planning
Director Tom Polk.
