Neal Communities recently
purchased a 368 acre parcel off
Border Road for $12 million in Nokomis. Neal Communites,
headquatered in Lakewood Ranch, was named 2012's Best
Builder by Builder Magazine. To date, Neal has built over
9,000 homes in Southwest Florida.

Jacksonville developer, GreenPointe
Holdings, has submitted a plan to
buy one of downtown Sarasota's
premier properties, the former
Sarasota Quay, the 14-acre wa-
terfront property between The
Ritz-Carlton and the Hyatt Regency.
A 5,950-square-foot retail building
at 29 N Boulevard of the Presidents
in St. Armands Key recently sold
for $2.7 million to a Tampa com-
pany. The building once housed the
"Cork" restaurant and the more
recent sushi restaurant, Tokyo.
A new residental tower, VUE and
Westin hotel are slated to be
built on the prominate corner of
US 41 and Gulfstream Boulevard.
The project is being developed by
Kolter, headquartered in Palm Beach
County, Florida.
