Alternatively, dip each piece of moss into hot-melt glue and press it onto the cone. Hold the moss in place for a few seconds, until the glue cools and hardens. Continue this process until the entire cone is covered. Then, insert ¾-inch pearl- headed pins through the moss and into the cone, to create a decorative pattern of "ornaments" on the "tree." Dip the pin ends into hot melt glue before inserting them into the cone. Place the pins individually and space them evenly, or cluster them—which ever you prefer. If you want additional embellishments, wrap a length of narrow ribbon around the "tree," like a garland, or glue other small ornaments, tiny cones, or permanent or dried botanicals onto the "tree." Cluster a few miniature ball Step 2 Place the "tree" onto the wood base of a flat-top cylindrical glass terrarium or cloche, securing it in place with adhesive dashes or hot glue. Secure other seasonal decorative items, like small pine cones and miniature ornaments, atop the wood base with dots of hot glue. Place the flat-top glass cover Step 3 For the arrangement that will sit atop the flat-top terrarium, start by creating three looped Aspidistra leaves folding over the top of each leaf and then curling the stem end over and piercing the stem through the folded tip section of the leaf. Next, assemble the three curled leaves into single unit by piercing the stem of one curled leaf through another curled leaf and then piercing the stem of the third curled leaf through the other two curled leaves. Finally, coil a few blades of lily grass inside the container—a wood-based glass terrarium bowl—and place the stems of the Aspidistra-leaf structure into the container, to create a stable foundation for the Step 4 Arrange roses into the terrarium bowl, among the Aspidistra leaves. Next, add loops of silver-glittered flat Step 5 Arrange two or three stems of miniature Phalaenopsis orchids around and above Step 6 Arrange stems of coniferous evergreens into the design, along with picked pine cones. Place a single Phalaenopsis orchid bloom onto the wood base of the scene created in Step 2, to tie the upper and lower sections of the design together, and then place the flat-top cylindrical glass terrarium atop the wood base, completing the lower section of the design. Next, place the flower arrangement in the wood- based terrarium bowl atop the flat-top cylindrical glass terrarium. Finally, drape a string of battery-operated lights over, around and through the finished design
