Step 2 Fill an 8-inch-tall clear glass vase with properly proportioned flower nutrient solution. Arrange stems of seeded Eucalyptus, painted and green, as well as stems of croton leaves into the vase, to create an armature/grid of stems through which to arrange the flowers. Step 3 Arrange roses, Gerbera, umbrella palm and gold-painted Eryngium into the vase. Step 4 Create a trellis-like structure with four branches, stems of river cane or bamboo, dowels, or sticks—two tall, placed vertically, and two short, placed horizontally. Bind the pieces together at the four intersections where they cross with gold bullion wire. Place the structure into the vase, near the back of the design. Step 5 Place any combination of small botanical materials—Hypericum berries; small Eryngium blooms; miniature pine, spruce or hemlock cones; and/or Eucalyptus seeds—into two clear acrylic fillable ball ornaments. Attach the two ornaments to the trellis structure with gold bullion wire. Step by Step
