wonderful opportunities
introduce beautiful
metallic accents—golds,
silvers, coppers and bronzes, from patinated
to shiny and glittery—to all of your winter
fl oral off erings. Such accents can range
from ribbons and ornaments to fi gurines
and candles—and even botanical materials tinged
with metallic sprays. Creative options are limitless.
For this design, I elevated the aesthetic and added holiday
elegance by gilding some of the foliage and fl owers with
an antique gold spray colorant. For a charming fi nishing
touch, I showcased a few diminutive botanicals in clear
acrylic fi llable ball ornaments and attached the ornaments
onto a trellis-like structure. You can also use this display
technique to incorporate keepsake ornaments, as add-on
gi s, into your holiday designs.
