Amanda Rodgers Bouquet Atlanta Atlanta, Ga. @bouquetatlanta Amanda Rodgers, a fl orist-farmer in the Atlanta area, is a big proponent of locally grown fl owers. She grows a lot of the product she uses, and she supports other local farms, as well. She specializes in bespoke garden-style fl ower arrangements. "We love local fl owers and feature blooms and foliage from multiple local vendors," she notes. About her design, Rodgers shares: "I wanted to create wild rose garden with vines and other fl owers 'growing' up through the roses. I used the OASIS™ Rustic Wire to secure various vines together, to appear like they were growing together. I grouped fl ower types and varieties together to mimic nature, and I used several various fl ower shapes, sizes and textures to create interest and dimension." We received more than 40 entries from fl oral designers across North America. Four of those designers were chosen to compete in the "'Best in Blooms" fl oral design challenge sponsored by Alexandra Farms and Smithers-Oasis North America/ Oasis Floral Products. We asked each fi nalist to create a rustic wedding centerpiece highlighting the four varieties of lush pink garden roses provided by Alexandra Farms— 'Tsumugi', 'Miyabi', 'Princess Hitomi' and 'Princess Pinku' spray, as well as the ECOssentials™ Containers, OASIS® Midnight Floral Foam and OASIS™ Rustic Wire provided by Smithers-Oasis. e winner, Amanda Rodgers, owner of Bouquet Atlanta in Atlanta, Ga., will receive a "Florist Spotlight" feature in a future issue of Florists' Review, a $500 merchandise credit from Smithers-Oasis and 240 stems of garden roses from Alexandra Farms.
