E levated centerpieces always create a dramatic impact in a room, whether that room is a dining room in a home or a ballroom in a hotel or country club. Often, though, the beautiful fl owers are above the eyesight of seated guests, so this two- tier design, featuring a sleek clear glass cylinder vase as the "pedestal," allows for fl owers at table level to be appreciated by guests during dinner, as well as an elevated arrangement to create a spectacular eff ect in a large space. Designs of this type can assume many personalities, and this composition transitions from artful, contemporary and sophisticated on the bottom to traditional and rustic, shabby- chic or even vintage on top— a successful blending of two aesthetics to accommodate the varying tastes of, say, a nuptial couple merging their distinctive lives. This seamless dual-level design beautifully coalesces two aesthetics into a single harmonious composition.
