Floral design and text by Nicole Gilbride Photos by Shea Gregg and Nicole Gilbride Presented by Melrose International melroseintl.com An artistic mantelscape of natural, earthy-hued pampas grass takes on a holiday spirit with gilded, glittery and icy accents. "W hen I saw the beautiful and versatile products from Melrose International, I realized they will work with any holiday design style," says Nicole Gilbride, owner of Beholden Blooms in Frankfort, Ky. "My inspiration for this natural, earthy-hued boho Christmas mantel design came from an image of a Christmas tree created from pampas grass that I saw last year. To update the style for 2022 and add a bit of glamour and sparkle, I incorporated Melrose's "Tinsel Town" Ice Branch Garland and "Snow Angel" Glitter Stems with the dried pampas grass, as well as Melrose's "Tinsel Town" Deer and Trees, as styling elements." Decorating with dried botanicals reduces the challenge of keeping designs alive for the duration of the holiday season—and your clients can repurpose them for decorating applications in their homes through- out the year. In addition, boho (a.k.a. boho-chic and urban boho) is still on trend in interior design and fashion, and it comprises great style cues that you can incorporate into designs for the holidays—and every day.
