Amanda Notyena is a creative entrepreneur in the
truest sense. First known a bridalwear designer, she is a
multidisciplinary artist who found hope through flowers.
Her eponymous luxury formalwear brand, Amanda
Knots, was established in 2014, specializing in bespoke
bridal dresses. en, in 2020, her thriving business
came to a standstill with the COVID-19 outbreak.
To stay competitive and further distinguish herself, she
says, "I decided to expand the services that the brand
provided." She began learning about floral design and
decided to give her business a boost, opening what she
calls "the flower-bar service. Introducing the flower-bar
did not only keep the brand alive but also my creativity
as a designer," reflects Notyena, who believes that "any
flower arrangement that is done with the intention
of moving the soul will please the eyes, just like an
arrangement of musical notes that pleases the ears. My
objective as a creative is to highlight emotions and the
movement thereof, while applying design principles."
Annaliese Maffescioni
Signature Floral Design

@signaturefloraldesign
Event floral designer Annaliese Maffescioni possesses the
power of weightlessness. First brought to our attention
through social media, we were instantly enchanted by
her ability to create "flower clouds" dripping with ruffled
reflexed roses and luxurious orchids that truly seem to
float. When asked about the everyday role flowers play
in her local culture, Maffescioni notes, "Flowers are
such a natural beauty among us, no matter where we
live. We use them daily to beautify our lives."
At the age of 19, Maffescioni began her floral journey.
Now, after nearly three decades as full-time florist, she
says, "Once I had a taste, I was hooked. Twenty-seven
years later, with my own business for 12 years and more
than 500 weddings under my belt, I still love it."
