Business 60 March | 2022 T hree-hundred-sixty-four days of the year, the person receiving flowers on Administrative Professionals' Day (or during that week) is typically the one who is responsible for sending flowers for his or her organization. is is your chance to make an indelible impression on those people, and here's why. In many cases, the administrative professional in an organization is in charge of sending flowers or acknowledgments. Most of the owners, CEOs, doctors or whoever is in charge don't even know who the organization's house florist is, but the admin does! Now how do you may sure he or she orders from you? Send an email blast. If admins open an email from you that screams Admin Day and the value of acknowledgment, they will order from you. But that is not enough. Be sure to include a "Free Refill" card with every arrangement delivered to an admin. Print a special card, and include one with every arrangement, to get that admin to visit your shop. Include the order number as a "secret code." en, when he or she visits your shop, you retrieve the order and refill it—while he or she waits! And make darn sure that the admins get treated like they own the place while they wait! It's up to you. Administrative Professionals' Day/Week is your chance to plant those seeds on every order delivered to an admin. And, by the way, forget about $100 arrangements. Showcase small vase designs and other affordable items that your larger clients can buy in multiples. What Admin Day/Week can really mean for local florists.
