STEP 1
Gently loosen the roots of two 4-inch Phalaenopsis orchid plants,
and remove any potting media from the orchid's roots. Snip off
and discard any withered and/or dead roots. Tuck bits of
moistened Sphagnum moss or sheet moss among the plants'
root structure, to provide moisture.
STEP 2
Bind the roots of one or both orchid plants to a branch or branches
with paper-covered wire.
STEP 3
Place a layer of col-
ored crushed glass,
glass marbles/
gems, rocks, etc.,
into the bottom of a
large glass cylinder
vase. For additional
color and texture,
add a small wad of
dyed Spanish moss
atop the layer of
crushed glass.
