AND OCTOBER, AUTUMN AESTHETICS ARE NOW THE MOST SOUGHT FOR WEDDINGS.

T
he traditional "wedding season"
has changed. According to e
Knot and WeddingWire, of the
fi ve most popular months for
weddings, October, September and August
take three of the top spots (No. 1, No. 2 and
No. 5, respectively), surpassing June (No. 3)
and May (No. 4) for the past several years!
With this shift, many brides are choosing
fl owers, colors and textures that refl ect a
more autumnal aesthetic.
With its casual elegance, this stunning free-
form bouquet would be just as appropriate
for weddings in barns, wineries, parks
and waterfronts as it would be for events
in country clubs, hotels, mansions and
churches. e carefully curated seasonal
botanicals, including Dahlia, wild grasses,
chestnut branches and colorful foliages,
compose a modern palette that is both
refi ned and playful. A few white blossoms
"tie" the bouquet to the bridal gown but
without diluting the rich fall color scheme.
And a simple tie of elegant ribbon or
ribbon-wrapped stems could add even
more personality, be it relaxed or formal.
