Weddings of 2021
F
or better or worse, 2020 profoundly changed the landscape of the
wedding industry. But if there's one thing last year showed us, it's
that love doesn't stop for a worldwide pandemic—and neither do
florists. For more than two decades, Florists' Review magazine has proudly
showcased the stunning design work of more than a thousand talented
designers, and the 2020 weddings submitted this year again amazed our
judges with their both their creativity and the quality of floral design.
While COVID-19 forced many bridal couples to scale down their nuptials,
it certainly didn't hinder the level of creativity and innovation seen in the
myriad gorgeous bouquets and wearable flowers, as well as the lavish
ceremony and reception décor.
We asked you to show us how you brought color, joy and beauty to couples
for our 22nd annual "Picture Perfect Weddings" contest, and boy, did you
deliver! From a stunning Smilax installation and a ghoulishly gorgeous
Halloween reception to a bright and joyful cascade bouquet and an over-
the-top floral wedding, congratulations to the following floral designers
who wowed us with their wedding work in 2020.
