DOCKSIDE CASUAL Fishing boats and airboats, island music, quirky characters, old wooden docks and a few fancier ones rock the nautical vibe from Naples to Everglades City. In Everglades City, you'll find the real thing at Camellia Street Grill, Triad Seafood and City Seafood. On Marco, it's an all-day party at Snook Inn, and it doesn't get any quirkier than Stan's Idle Hour Restaurant & Bar, a favorite of everyone from visiting TV personalities to the motorcycle crowd. Near Vanderbilt Beach, get a pitcher of beer to go with your seafood and burgers at an old local favorite, Buzz's Lighthouse. Happy hour seafood deals are great at The Dock at Crayton Cove, and in Tin City, two great choices to dine right on the docks are Riverwalk and Pinchers. On the Isles of Capri, discover typical Old Florida fare at Pelican Bend, and while the water is more in the Big Cypress wetlands than on a dock, Joanie's Blue Crab Café, with fresh seafood platters and live 'Glades music is a must-do. In contrast, a former fishing shack on the Gordon River has been transformed into the charming Three60 Market, offering generous portions of gourmet fare from breakfast to dinner, plus prepared takeaways and an exceptional wine shop.
