U.S. Highway 41 runs north to south through
Southwest Florida. It's also called The Tamiami Trail
(Tampa-to-Miami, get it?). From North Naples to Central
Avenue, it's Tamiami Trail North, or U.S. 41 North. South
of Central Avenue, it's Tamiami Trail South/U.S. 41
South/9th Street North. At Naples Bay it curves east
toward Marco Island and Everglades City and
becomes U.S. 41 East, or the East Trail.
Old Naples streets are north/south. Avenues are east/
west, ending at the beach. There's no 1st Street; it's
called Gulf Shore Blvd.
Beach parking has a charge and is most abundant at the
Naples Pier, Lowdermilk Beach Park and the Vanderbilt
Beach parking garage. Downtown Naples has two large
free parking garages.
Many Naples hotels not directly on the beach offer
free shuttle service.
Ride Slidr offers "free" rides in downtown Naples.

Collier Blvd, and at the south end it's South Collier Blvd.

eight-minute scenic drive south gets you to Smallwood's
historic trading post, adventure and fishing guides, and
the popular must-try authentic Cuban Havana Café open
during the winter months.
